What is UPS PCB?
UPS=Uninterruptible Power System. UPS is a constant voltage and frequency uninterruptible power supply, mainly composed of energy storage devices and inverters. Mainly used to provide uninterrupted power supply to a single computer, computer network system, or other power electronic equipment.
When the mains input is normal, the UPS stabilizes the mains voltage and supplies it to the load for use. At this time, the UPS is an AC mains voltage stabilizer, and it also charges the internal battery. When the mains power is interrupted (accident power outage), UPS immediately supplies 220V AC power from the internal battery to the load through inverter conversion, so as to maintain normal operation of the load and protect the software and hardware of the load from damage. UPS equipment typically provides protection against both high and low voltage.
The function of UPS PCB is to control the UPS circuit, so that the UPS can work normally. UPS PCB has high reliability requirements and high coating uniformity.

UPS PCB Circuit Board Classification
Off line square wave output: Its single machine output power is around 400-2000VA. When the mains power is within the range of 162-268V and 45Hz-55Hz, it provides the load with a general mains power supply that has been processed through transformer taps, and the inverter is in automatic shutdown mode. When the mains voltage is below 162V or above 268V ± 5%, and the frequency is below 45Hz or above 55Hz ± 1Hz (the frequency range of the generator is wider), it provides users with a 50Hz square wave power supply with stable output characteristics.
Off line sine wave output UPS power supply: Its single machine output power is around 500-3000VA. When the mains power is within the range of 160-281V and 45Hz-55Hz, it provides the load with a general mains power supply that has been processed through transformer taps, and the inverter is in automatic shutdown mode. When the mains voltage is below 160V or above 281V ± 4%, and the frequency is below 45Hz or above 55Hz ± 1Hz (the frequency range of the generator is wider), it provides users with a 50Hz sine wave power supply with stable output characteristics.
Off line UPS circuit board: The single machine output power of Off line UPS PCB is 0.7-1500kVA. When users adopt a multi machine "redundant" parallel configuration scheme, they can directly parallel several to dozens of UPS power supplies with the same output power and model to form a large UPS power supply system of 7000-8000kVA. Online UPS provides users with high-quality pure sine wave power supply.
There are also two types of mainstream products that are not centered/phoenixtec
Interactive UPS power supply: Its single machine output power is 0.7-20kVA. When the mains voltage is within the range of 180-240V, it directly provides mains power to the load through an AC bypass composed of a transmission cable. When the mains voltage is within the range of 150-180V or 240-276V, it provides users with 197-250V mains power through an AC voltage regulator composed of a transformer tap adjustment processing circuit. It only provides true inverter sine wave power to users when the voltage of the mains power supply is below 150V or above 276V. Also known as quasi online UPS.
Delta conversion type UPS power supply: Its single machine output power is 10-480kVA. When the mains power supply meets the voltage fluctuation of ≤± 15% and frequency fluctuation of ≤± 3Hz, the compensating power supply provided by the Delta converter with an amplitude not exceeding 15% of the inverter rated output voltage is connected in series with the input power supply through a compensating transformer in the main power supply circuit to form a series stabilized power supply. When the input power supply is not within the above voltage and frequency range, a sine wave power supply is provided to the user by the main converter (without an inverter output isolation transformer).
According to the classification of output capacity in GB/T14715-93, UPS below 3kVA belongs to micro UPS, UPS between 3-10kVA belongs to small UPS, UPS between 10-100kVA belongs to medium UPS, and UPS above 100kVA belongs to large UPS.
UPS PCB working mode
What is the operating frequency of the power transistor and transformer of the converter and inverter, and use it to judge! If the frequency is greater than 20KHz, it is called a high-frequency machine, and if the frequency is equal to 50Hz, it is called a power frequency machine. Regardless of the AVR and charger components.
Characteristics of power frequency machine: relatively bulky power frequency transformer, advantages: generally considered to have high reliability.
Characteristics of high-frequency machine: Small high-frequency transformer, advantages: small size, light weight, low cost.
Conversely, it has become their respective shortcomings.
